This past week saw a lot of new tech from the Taipei Cycle Show and our on the ground reporting at Flanders, which included a few previews of Roubaix-ready race bikes and bits. For equally rough roads, the new Orbea Terra gravel bike got official, too.
It also saw the launch of an all-new Cannondale Jekyll and Trigger, both sharing a fresh partnership with Fox Racing Shox to create a dual travel rear shock that’s smaller and lighter than the outgoing DYAD version. Still on mountain bikes, Rockshox debuted a much more ergonomic hydraulic remote lever for their Reverb dropper post, and we brought in the well respected Santa Cruz Bronson for long term test…as a platform for the all-new Cane Creek Helm suspension fork! And Specialized took the wrapper off their lightest ever frame with the new Epic S-Works hardtail.
