Shimano shook off their typically reserved demeanor to boast that they pretty much owned this year’s Tour de France. With every stage won on Dura-Ace, they wanted to flaunt it a little, so what the heck, here ya go. Congrats!
Also on the road, Pinarello continued their steady roll out, this week showing the Dogma F10X Light top-tier race bike and the Dogma K10S Disk endurance bike with electronically controlled rear suspension. Yes, you read that right. Meanwhile, Simplon took aerodynamics and integration to the altar, Focus offered up some colorful paint schemes, Raleigh put together a Nelson Vails tribute, and Stevens reworked their flagship cyclocross race bike.
Our Kenda factory tour took you inside their Taiwanese headquarters to show how they produce 15,000 bicycle tires per day and 50,000 inner tubes per day. Be sure to watch the video of how a mountain bike tire is laid up by hand before heading to the heat mold!
